PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles. Now, all the believers were together and held all things in common. (Acts 2:42-44)

 

  • Pray that all of us will continue to draw closer together into a real family of God.

  • Pray that our love for one another will continue to grow.

  • Pray for the deliverance of members caught in sin grips and devices

  • Pray for our young people who are fighting suicidal ideations

  • Pray for those who are struggling with sexual temptation and indemnity

  • Pray for those in our church whose marriages are teetering on divorce

  • Pray that God will heal every physical sickness and mental illness of members in our church family.

  • Pray that God will protect our pastors, elders, and leaders from sin, ungodly influence, or outside interference that might compromise or distract them from serving God faithfully.

  • Pray that every new person who joins this church will find a place to serve

  • Pray that God will give our members generous hearts and that our giving will exceed our project budget of $550K

  • Pray that God will provide an additional $100K to build the Child Development Center in Kampala, Uganda.

  • Pray that God would give us favor with the property owners behind the church and that we could purchase the property for cash at an agreed-upon asking price.

  • Pray that God will provide the funds that every person who desires to travel to Africa will have the funding to do so, with stress or struggle.

  • Pray for the Church Planters and Missionaries we support that they will advance the Gospel with boldness and unwavering Gospel commitment.

PRAY FOR OUR LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL LEADERS AND WORKERS

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good, and it pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Ask God to protect them. (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

 

  • Ask God to guide their decisions and actions.

  • Ask God to impress on them a spirit of truth and integrity

  • Ask God to help them value the things that He values.

  • Ask God to give them a heart for the poor and vulnerable who live among us.

  • Ask God to work in their lives spiritually, bringing them to repentance, forgiving their sins, and making them more like Jesus.
